Education

Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. — William Butler Yeats

Hope’s Adult Education program offers GED preparation classes and English as a Second Language classes to adults for a nominal fee.

Our College and Career Access program provides group and individual guidance for a variety of educational and vocational options for high school youth and young adults.

Our After-School Tutoring program serves elementary school children at Hope and at two centers in nearby low-income neighborhoods.

Members of our 31-person AmeriCorps team provide tutoring and other types of educational support in many local elementary and middle schools during the school day.
